The attempt to reconnect with her son and her husband who has remarried, are in the middle of the investigation in the past of Emily and a dangerous serial killer. **Absentia** is also the **Stana Katic** (_Castle_) project for Amazon. While the series takes an interesting and strong premise as a basis, it only holds on the interpretations, accurate and correct, of the novel casting. The incessant attempt to maintain a dark atmosphere through silences or unrealistic decisions of the characters, undermines the potential of the series.”
