Aside from showing us something of the inflationary impact on the price of the things, these photographs also allow us to watch them age in real time as they marry, have a family and engage in some of the more mundane, domestic, activities like cooking and shopping that you might not expect of a royal couple who also more formally visit everywhere from Russia to Egypt. As tributes go, it’s a bit different and packs quite a bit of commentary and (perhaps not very politically correct) history into three minutes.”
