“Leaning on a twist This is a teen slasher. Not a particularly good one, and it wants to lean into its twist, which is unfortunate, because the suspense does not build in a way that lets the viewing audience engage with the twist. It just is, and you never truly question what it is going to be. It makes the movie dull and predictable. It would not be hard to fix, but they chose to go with a very predicable route, and now we end up with this. Such a shame.”
